Set static ip on your windows computer

1. Click Start Menu > Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center. (For Windows 8 and higher, search for and open Control Panel and select Network and Internet).
2. Click Change adapter settings.

3. Right-click on Local Area Connection and click on Properties.
4. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click on Properties.
5. Select "Use the following IP address" and enter the IP address: 192.168.1.2, Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway. and DNS server. Click OK and close the Local Area Connection properties window.

1. Connect to the modem direct with a cable.
2. Open a browser and enter the gateway's default address http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
3. The Network status page appears. If so, click the Manage gateway (advanced) link (usually located in the upper right corner). The Authentication Required dialog box appears.
4. Enter the username: routeradmin and password: MAC Address of the router (all in uppercase) (please see Table 1, “How to find MAC Address”) and click Sign In or OK to display the default landing page. It is the Device Info page.

5. On the Left Menu, click on Advanced Setup, WAN Service.
6. Click on Edit on first interface.
7. Enter the PPPoE credentials, of ********@dialloginternet.ca and the password of ************** Scroll down to the bottom and click Next, Next, Next and at the end click on Apply/Save.
8. Click on Edit on second interface. Repeat the steps from above.
9. Power off the modem and connect the DSL line.
10. Power the modem on and after 1 or 2 minutes, log back into the management interface to check for connectivity.
